Orange Dream is a real, live thimble cactus paired with a handmade one-inch orange polymer clay pot and a tiny citrus-slice detail. This low-maintenance mini cactus adds a cheerful bit of color to a desk, bookshelf, windowsill, or kitchen counter and makes a small gift for cactus lovers and fruit fans.

The Tiny Plant Adoption Kit includes the cactus, inner white pot, pre-portioned soil, water dropper, magnetic hexagon coaster, care guide, certificate of adoption, registration card, and detachable Cactus Pal keychain. The cactus arrives unpotted for you to plant at home.

Give it bright indirect light and a few drops of water about every two weeks, letting the soil dry between waterings.

Each pot is finished by hand in San Diego, so every Orange Dream has its own tiny personality.

Quick Answers

Are Real Tiny Plants alive?

Yes. Each Tiny Plant Adoption Kit includes a live thimble cactus. Since these are real plants and handmade pots, no two are exactly alike. Each has its own quirks. Some are a little rounder or taller, with slight variations in finish and color. Every one is perfectly tiny and guaranteed to fit its pot.

Will my tiny cactus stay tiny?

Yes. Your thimble cactus is meant to stay small and can live happily in its little pot for years. If you want it to grow larger, wait until it has roots and move the white inner pot into a bigger home.

How do I care for my tiny cactus?

Give it a few drops of water every two weeks with the included dropper. Let the soil dry before watering again. Place it in a warm spot with bright, indirect light. A bright window is a perfect home. Office or artificial lighting can work too, but give your tiny friend the brightest spot you have.

How do I set up my Tiny Plant Adoption Kit?

Your cactus arrives unpotted so you can give it its welcome-home setup. Place the white inner pot inside the clay pot, add the included soil, and rest the cactus on top. Give it a few drops of water. The whole ritual takes about 30 seconds.

How do I make the adoption official?

Name your tiny plant and sign the included certificate of adoption. The certificate turns the first-day setup into an official welcome home for your new tiny friend. Now you have a tiny responsibility.

What is the Cactus Pal keychain?

The Cactus Pal keychain is a detachable mini cactus included with every adoption kit. Carry it with you or place it inside the clay pot as a forever plant backup that never needs water, perfect for when life gets busy.

My first order incurred a significant shipping delay. I waited a week past due date and then contacted customer service. A new order was shipped same day and arrived a day before expected. This is a great company to work with.

I am in love with my tiny lil cactus. Since Mexico has the largest variety of cacti in the world, I decided to go with a Hispanic name. He is Enzo. I was able to easily plant him in his pot and am now anxiously awaiting roots so that I can safely transport him to the office where he will live on my desk! I know cacti are very hardy but I'd love to see other varieties offered for shipment. Succulents are also hardy and I have several that were safely shipped. I'd love to have a collection!

My initial order got lost in the USPS system somewhere in San Diego. Another order was quickly shipped out the following business day and arrived on time. This item was a gift. My wife loves it! Thank you!

Baby cactus is still in its pot but nothing seems to be happening. I water every 2-3 days and it’s just sitting there. It’s in my kitchen window that gets full sun for about 5 hours a day. Trying to be patient.
