This low-maintenance mini cactus brings a little sparkle to a desk, bookshelf, windowsill, or plant collection and makes a playful gift for someone who likes plants with personality.

The Tiny Plant Adoption Kit includes the cactus, inner white pot, pre-portioned soil, water dropper, magnetic hexagon coaster, care guide, certificate of adoption, registration card, and detachable Cactus Pal keychain. The cactus arrives unpotted for you to plant at home.

Will my tiny cactus stay tiny?

Yes. Your thimble cactus is meant to stay small and can live happily in its little pot for years. If you want it to grow larger, wait until it has roots and move the white inner pot into a bigger home.

How do I care for my tiny cactus?

Give it a few drops of water every two weeks with the included dropper. Let the soil dry before watering again. Place it in a warm spot with bright, indirect light. A bright window is a perfect home. Office or artificial lighting can work too, but give your tiny friend the brightest spot you have.

Store owner replied: Thank you, Kathie, and that is a good question. The first test is touch, because a healthy thimble cactus feels firm to the gentlest squeeze rather than soft. The second is color, though our cacti are not all one shade, so a deeper green, a light green, or a slight yellow can each be perfectly normal. What matters is whether it has changed from the color it arrived in. They also grow very slowly and take several weeks to root, so seeing no change is normal.
